  how to transfer my domain. I purchased a plan so that I could transfer my domain to wordpress, yet I am asked to purchase another plan?

  Depending on the domain, you can transfer it using these steps. WordPress.com cannot accept all types of domain transfers, though. This page shows which ones we can accept.
