How to transfer my site

    I have my website with Wix. Will it be possible to transfer my existing site to WordPress, without having to build it again?

    The site I need help with is puppyscamawarenessaustralia.com.au. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hello,

    Since Wix is a closed platform (not open source), there are no direct ways of transferring the content from this CMS. However, it is possible to import the Wix RSS feed, instead of recreating each post manually. First of all, you will need to download your website’s RSS file.

    Then you can import the RSS file into your WordPress website from Tools -> Import option.

    Now to transfer Images –

    You can manually save all images on your computer and upload them to your Media Library in WordPress. You can upload them in bulk via FTP.

    You can install and activate the additional plugin: Import External Images. After installing and activating the plugin, go to “Media → Import Images” and click on the “Import Images Now” button.

    As there is no automatic process so, you have to manage the navigation for each page manually in your WordPress site.
