How to transfer subscribers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org?

  I need help for transfering my subscribers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. I already have an csv file with their emails, but I can’t import them. Can anyone in the support help me with it? Mi blog is mochilaotrips.com.

  I found a topic in the forum about it, where a Happyness Engeneer (Hew) helped people transfering their subscribers, but the topic was already closed.

  Hi Carol, I’ll be happy to transfer them for you. Note that I can only transfer your email subscribers (but not WordPress.com followers) at this time. Could you please confirm the blogs URLs for transfer (to/from)?

  Hi Jenia, tks!
  I´ve redirected the old blog to the new one, so both are in the same adress (mochilaotrips.com). The original, at wordpress.com, was mochilaotrips.com, and the other (at wordpress.org) was mochilaotrips.com.br, but now both go to the same place.

  OK, I’ve transferred your email subscribers from mochilaotrips.wordpress.com to mochilaotrips.com.

  There´s a way of importing the WordPress followers too, or I shall email them and ask them to follow the blog again?

  Since there isn’t a Reader feature on self-hosted sites, WordPress.com followers don’t carry over. You could either email them if you know who they are, or make a final post on the old site informing people of the switch. Hope this helps!
