How to transfer wordpress.com blog followers, subscribers and stats to .org??
-
Hi,
I moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org hosted by bluehost yesterday. I cannot see my stats or the visitor views on my posts? How to transfer all those details to .org site? please help!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Another question I have is, even after getting my wordpress.org site live and running, I can still see and access my wordpress.com blog. What is the mistake I am doing here? Should I map my domain or something from wordpress.com to the new .org site? So, I need to pay for an upgrade and do it? Any other way apart from purchasing it? Can’t I do it myself? Please explain someone.

Hi Poojita,
Please use the Jetpack plugin on your WordPress.org site to connect your blog to your WordPress.com account. This will help you to get the old stats to your WordPress.org site. If your WordPress.org site is fully functional then you can just redirect your visitors from your WordPress.com to your WordPress.org site using the site redirect upgrade. -
Thank you for the reply. While trying to purchase site redirect I am getting an error saying ‘domain URL not valid, so cannot redirect’, what should I do? What might be the mistake I am doing?

Stats (I am not so sure about email subscribers) can be transferred only by the staff. So I tagged this thread for staff’s attention.
Sbscribe to this thread and wait until staff responds. :-)

Hi there,
I have merged all of your stats from your WordPress.com blog in to your new WordPress.org site. You should see the change in a few hours. Please note that post likes do not get transferred, only site traffic.
I also verified that all subscribers got transferred over in the first place. All of your subscribers are now attached to your new site, there are not any now with WordPress.com.
And in regards to the redirect, it’s important to note that you can only redirect to a top-level domain (so to something like domain.com. You cannot redirect to domain.com/page.html). If you are trying to redirect to a page then the redirect will not work.
