How to turn of word wrap
-
On this blog http://poetscornerblog.wordpress.com/ authors post poems to me through the contact form, they all say that there are no spaces between the lines, but I receive the poems the way they should be.
One author thought it was wordwrap turned on.

I’m confused if you are talking about poems in comments or in posts. Either way, in WordPress it is basically the same.
Poetry requires one line, no space between, in a stanza, and spaces between stanzas.
In a post, if you are using the Visual Editor, use SHIFT+ENTER to create a line break, a single line, for the lines in a stanza, and a single ENTER to create a break between stanzas.
If you are using the Text Editor, one enter to create a single line, two to create a paragraph, or bigger break between stanzas. It’s easier to write poetry in the Text Editor in WordPress than in the Visual.
In a comment, this is more problematic. What it looks like in the comment panel on the backend of WordPress may not be what it looks like on the front end view of the site.
If it isn’t looking right, then try fixing it in the comment panel for them after they post. If you want to teach them how to send you poems in the comment box, then tell them to put one enter between each line in a stanza, and two between stanzas. Best we can do as the comment box isn’t kind to poetry.
I hope this covers your questions from all sides. There is no word wrap in WordPress. Nothing to turn on or off.

I am not taking about poems in comments or posts or how to write in the visual or text editors.
Its when a poet is posting a poem to ME by my contact form, when they click send they see it as a jumbled mess but it comes out properly in my email.
