How to turn off my blog ?

    How can I have my old one removed completely off of any serach engines. I will wait for my revised one to appear (fingers crossed) but meanwhile I want my old one with the misspelling in the title off. It shows up no matter what I do.

    I did contact google and they suggested I ask this question to the forum

    Hi
    in your Dashboard left column–> Settings–> privacy.

    you can make you blog completely private with the third selection.
    remember to save

    Hi,

    I tried that approach and all it did was make my blog to my subscribers unable to read it..when they opened it, it said private.I took off the private do they can read it.

    I still have a blog…its there for me to access and my 3 subscribers to read . But! on google when you type in “daughters of borderline moms.” my old blog pops up in 3 places with the old address,(daughtesofborderline.wordpress.com).and when u click on it,says that the authours have deleted the site.
    I did delete that name and therefore site but replaced it with my new name which is
    “daughteRsof borderlinemoms.” I can understand if it will take google some time to index it but why can’t I get rid of my old blog address. This will make my readers think I have shut down.
    please advise in an easy format!!
