how to turn off popup in Subscribe widget
-
I had a complaint that while reading one of my post there was a popup asking them to subscribe
“Cool story. Thanks for telling it. . However there is a popup covering most of my 4.8 inch screen asking me to subscribe by email. I can’t even see what im typing.”
I went to the widget and see no option for turning off the popup. How can I do so?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One person has a teeny tiny itsty bistsy screen and you are asking to prevent the ability for all non-WordPress.com users to subscribe to your blog. There’s no way I would ever do that.

To disable the follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts see here > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/more-traffic-for-your-blog-with-the-follow-button/

Are you aware of the responsive width themes we have and what responsive width means?
Responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.
To switch from that very old theme to a responsive width theme see here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-width/

tks
As Follow is redundant to the Subscribe widget I turned it off for now, hadn’t a clue it existed.
Good advice about switching theme but too busy to delve into that at the present.
Again, thanks for prompt reply.
