How to turn off text wrap?

  • Unknown's avatar

Sometimes I don’t want the text to wrap around my photos, because the sizing is such that the text wraps awkwardly and is hard to read. In these cases, I’d rather just have the photo(s) appear in one space, and then have the text start below that. I don’t care if there’s white space next to the photos.

I’ve read all over the support site and the forums but I can’t find any way to do this. I’ve tried left, right and center alignment to no avail. I don’t generally use the media library — I upload directly into my posts.

I can’t just change the photo sizes and eyeball it, to try to get the text to wrap around them in way that looks good, because it will look different to every reader, won’t it? (depending on what browser is used, or how they size their text?)

    Thank you!

    Try “Align None”

Align right and align left have text wrap.

Align center and align none have no text wrap. On align none, the image will be left aligned with no text wrap.

Thank you so much! I have been fighting with the visual editor and finding nothing in WordPress support pages for the past hour.
