How to un-delete pictures from Media Library??!

    I accidentally deleted all of my pictures from my Media Library because I thought they were just using up room as old downloads…and I just discovered that that action deleted ALL of my pictures off of my past blog posts! Is there any kind of backup or help I can get in getting all of my deleted pictures back? I’m heartbroken because I had carefully selected so many pictures for my blog.

    There is no automatic way to restore your media library. You’ll have to re-upload your pictures and re-link them again.

    The media library works just like a real-life library in your town: you go there to check out a book. If the library has discarded or lost the book, it is no longer available for you to take out. Unfortunately, if you deleted files from your media library, then you will have to make them available again by re-uploading them. Each post is like a patron of the library (with specific pictures already checked out though once the “books” have been deleted they are no longer available), so you will also have to make the links to your pictures again in order for them to be readable again.
