How to Un-Indent

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello ladies and gentlemen of WordPress. I have stumbled upon a rather bothersome problem. You see, every single post I make has the first line of each paragraph auto-indented; which again, is quite troubling, as it’s an eyesore at times, and I prefer some posts to have this sort of magazine-like article look to it.

Now, I can’t edit the CSS because I did not purchase the update (and rather not at this point) nor am I familiar with how to do it anyway. Also, I rather not change the format style from “Standard” to anything else, because I like those big-bold tittles at the top of each post. So, I was wondering if you folks can give me a sort of html code that I can use to un-indent each paragraph independently in the post editor? Something along those lines would be very helpful, if possible.

I’ve searched long-and-hard for a solution, but alas nothing I stumbled upon helped; leaving me a bit frustrated. I’m pretty much a knucklehead when it comes to this kind of thing (as it’s probably clear to some of you already). So, this is pretty much my last option, and I beg of you people to aid me.

The theme I use it Vertigo, which I imagine has something to do with it.

Please, and thanks for your time. Have a good day.

If you don’t have the CSS upgrade, then you’ll have to switch to the “Text” (html) editor and use this code for each paragraph.
    <p style="text-indent:0;">PARAGRAPH_TEXT_HERE</p>

I am having the same problem in Vertigo, but since I have no clue when it comes to html, I don’t know where to place the aforementioned code.

    Thanks!
