Hi Azora! Just to check, was this in relation to the site http://thekeydefense.com/? The reason that I ask is that this domain isn’t hosted here with us on WordPress.com, which unfortunately means it’s not connected to our system and this isn’t something we can directly do for you.
You may wish to talk to your host about this, in case they can help restore your site to a previous revision. Since you’re using the WordPress software from WordPress.org, it can also be worth just trying to switch back to your previous theme, in case that can help! In general, the WordPress.org forums are likely to be able to offer better advice for this:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/We do actually have a sibling product called Jetpack that offers VaultPress Backup, which does give you restore points like this though! It might be helpful for you if you’re making changes in future and find you’d need to restore to a previous backup, especially since you can see your changes in the activity log and choose a restore point yourself without needing to contact your host. I’ll link it here, so you have a chance to check it out:
https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/It’s the same backup as we offer on the Business plan for the sites that we host here on WordPress.com, but for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so if you’re happy with your current host but could do with the insurance that you can undo changes like a theme import then it’s worth looking into!
If you have any other questions, please do let us know.
