How to unpublish a post?

    I want to turn a published post back into a draft. That used to be easy. How do I do it now?
    I’m hating the new interface improvements!

    Howdy,

    So, if you go into the wp-admin and look to the right side of the screen in the publish area, there is a box that likely says Status Published. Under that line is a drop down box where you can select draft.

    I’ve not found the above method to work – but, if you go in to edit the post, on the left side under your domain name it should say “Published”, and next to that there is a little gear icon. Click on that gear icon, and then click “Revert to Draft”. I’m new to this, but that is how mine is set up.
