how to update credit card information

    I click on the link provided in my email to say my credit card info is expiring, and cannot find where I can update it.

    It appears that my $26.00 payment was made, but even when I click on print receipt, there is no record.

    I’m not able to see your actual card that’s on file for the account. This is a security measure to keep our user data safe.

    The payment details will be visible from the account that owns that domain upgrade too – It’s different from the account you are using here. Sign in to familytreequest and go to wordpress.com/me/purchases/ to see the renewal details.

    Thanks. That helped a lot.
    It’s confusing because my payment method still shows None, even though I’ve added my credit card. I checked my bank for the receipt this year, and it was there.

  • You loaded a new card in your Billing History section, but that does not automatically attach it to an upgrade to enable automatic renewal. Uploading a new card in Billing History only makes that card available for future use on the Checkout screen when you buy a new upgrade or manually renew an existing one.

    To enable auto-renew on your upgrades, please go to Purchases, click on each domain in turn, and select the Edit Payment Method option. Then add the new card there as well. That will ensure the domain renews automatically next year.
