How to upgrade and relaunch my wordpress.com blog

    I currently have a blog at fragrancearise.wordpress.com (with a lot of pages and extra content) and I’m considering upgrading to my own domain​, changing the theme, reorganizing​ and adding some stuff, and then making it a big announcement/relaunch to my followers and officially transitioning. Is there a way to upgrade and work on the new site on my own for a few weeks while leaving my current site as is?

    Hi there,

    You could use the Customizer to modify things, but not click the “Publish” button, as the customizer saves revisions. This would be my best suggestion. https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

    Alternatively, you could create another website. If you feel it necessary, you could export and then import your old content as well.

    However, my highest recommendation would be to use the Customizer and just not click “Publish” as revisions are saved. Let us know if you have any further questions.
