How to upload a third party wordpress theme?

  Hi,

  I purchased a wordpress theme last year. Along with that, I also purchased my domain name (opinioncircuit.com) from WordPress. Now, as I scale, I have identified a third party theme which is built on wordpress (http://themeforest.net/item/revant-magazine-wordpress-theme/9077816).

  How can I upload this theme on my dashboard and then use it as the primary interface? I am a little technically challenged so would really appreciate a “layman” response.

  Hi Vivek,

  Themes can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
