How to upload an Apple 'Numbers' file to twenty sixteen theme ?
-
Hi,
I’d like to create a new page on my website and insert an Apple ‘Numbers’ page.
It will list my previous bike trips, and I’d like to create a link on this page to a new page with the story and pictures.
So once it’s uploaded, the idea is the update this file as time goes on, without always uploading a new ‘Numbers’ file, because then I will loose the ‘links’ I created previously.f.e.
2009, country x, with a link to that page.
2010, country y, with a link to that page,…I’ve been searching around, but can’t find an answer on how to do this.
Many thanks in advance for your help :-)

Hi @bikeaway1!
The challenge here is going to be the web browsers aren’t designed to display this type of document – and to update it you would need to upload a new copy, since the data lives on your computer and not on the internet.
One possible option would be to keep your file in Google docs and embed it on your site.
The other option would be to keep a running list on your site and update that directly, rather than using Numbers.

Ah, thats an HTML table, which you can create using HTML code
A few handy links:
Basic HTML
Advanced HTML (specifically the section on tables)Online table generator – to do the coding for you.

Ok Thanks :-)
I tought that was a simple excel-file.
Heard of HTML of course but never knew what it was all about.
Gonna read up on it.Thanks a lot for the links.
