How to Upload Custom Theme?

  Hello, im VERY, VERY new to this and just have one or two noob questions:

  Someone will make me a custom theme, along with the header/logo, all rights to me, etc. What happens next? How can i use/upload this theme to WordPress/my blog?

  Please note that i am NOT using the WordPress.org application (it’s too advanced for me right now). Is it possible to upload it through the user-friendly Dashboard from wordpress.com? Im referring to the simple dashboard offered to anyone who creates a xxx.wordpress.com blog.

  I just need some pointers.

  This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

  We cannot upload themes here. We are limited to the themes listed under appearance > themes.

  Adding New Themes

  What we have is the custom CSS upgrade which allows us to stylize the themes here, but it does not allow us to change the functionality.
