How to upload file on homepage

  I’m trying to activate Google Webmaster for more traffic. I am prompted to “upload the file on my home page” to verify. I don’t know how to do this. I can’t find a location that has the “meta” or code shown on the sample in order to insert the code given. Or, I don’t know where to inert the “tag.” Can you help me?

  Thanks. I will look at that and report back. But I thought there were two codes given by Google Webmaster- one to put in that box on the WPtools menu, which starts with “Google”9 this is much shorter) which I did, and then you get another longer code to upload. My blog is already being hit on google searches, so I am not even sure I need this.

  It’s very easy to do. I did it with mine and it works like a treat.
