how to upload pictures on the widget ???

i would like to know how to upload pictures on the widget??
my fren kind da explained to me but it didnt work …
so i would like to ask y’all a favour for this!!!
do any1 know anything ????

I had trouble with the existing explanations, so here is my 4th grade explanation step by step.
1. Open up a New Post.
2. Upload an image file via that media box in the upper horizontal line of the post box. Click the “Insert” link to insert the image into the post.
3. Then click the HTML tab if it is now on VISUAL. You want the HTML code. I do not know a whit about HTML so anytime I am told to fiddle with it I cannot do it. I prefer to just copy HTML outright.
4. When you click the HTML tab, you will see a line or two of HTML code (letters and numbers which don’t make a lot of sense, which is why they call it code. :-) )
5. Copy that line or two of HTML code onto the clipboard. (Just copy it and it goes onto your clipboard.)
6. Now Click Save. Do not click Publish because you do not want an image in a post.
7. Now go and open up a Widget. You will see a blank field in which to Paste the HTML code. Paste it in.
8. Write whatever title you want in the white line above the image.
9. Click DONE.
10. CLICK SAVE.
voila: You now have an image in a widget.Lorna

All you need to do is upload the image to a hosting service like http://imageshack.us/. Then make a new Text widget and add <img src=”Your Image url”> then save it and you should be seeing your image in the widget sidebar. If your image is to big then re size it using HTML. If you do not know how to do that then check out W3schools. Here you can find a guide on how to resize images using HTML.
