How to use 2 different email providers (mydomain.com and sub.mydomain.com)

    Hi!

Currently I own the domain steincomunicacion.cl and I have the domain mapping upgrade to use it with my website. And in the DNS Records section I have MX records registered so I can use G Suite for my corporate email (“(email visible only to moderators and staff)”)

And now I need to create a bunch of email accounts administered by Zoho (and not G Suite), but maintaining G Suite for my email account. So I thought maybe I can create the other email accounts (Zoho) using a subdomain with its own DNS records ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). Does it make sense? How exactly I could do that?

    Thanks in advance!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

This is not possible. You cannot add MX records for two different providers to the same domain, even if you use subdomains.

Subdomains are created by adding either a CNAME or an A record on the root domain, and as such they don’t have their own DNS.
