How to use a deleted blog's address with a new username

  I had two blogs with the Lynxkyoto username. At first, I wanted to keep them together under the same username, but I soon realised there was the risk to publish posts on the wrong one anytime, so I decided to recycle an old WordPress username (this) and import one of the two blogs here, planning to delete the blog from Lynxkyoto and acquire its address as reofalso. The address is lynxb2b.wordpress.com.

  … but I just found out that even after deleting it, the address is still not usable (I just read the policy about it and actually agree with it). I read I can “ask for permission” to the owner of the address, which is still me, so I was wondering what I should do now to keep my blog address. It’s on advertising material, so it would be a huge problem for me to change it now.

  I’m sorry for not having checked before deleting the blog, and I hope you have a way to help me out with this.

  I am sorry, biut as you can read in Delete Site support document,

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address

  I read that too, but what gave me a tiny bit of hope was the part where it mentioned the possibility to ask for permission to use the address to the previous owner. I guess this doesn’t ring a bell though…
