How to use an image as a link to another site?
-
What I want to do is make not just a text link but an image link to my deviantART gallery. I tried what you see below, but it doesn’t work. Maybe the image I chose is too large? If so, that can easily be fixed…but I was sure this code would work otherwise?
My photos and other artwork are for sale, now...if anyone is interested, drop me a note! My fractal images and some photos are being shown on <a href="http://wildwanderingirl.deviantart.com/"><img src="http://wildwanderingirl.deviantart.com/art/Wings-Over-Cosmos-Arty-Look-378532590" /></a>, so please stop in for a visit! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s not working because the URL you used isn’t an image URL, it’s the URL of a page (with the image on it). You need to downsize a copy of the image in an image editing application to the right width for the theme you’re using (231px or less), then upload it to your blog via Media > Add New, click Edit, and copy the URL from the File URL field of the Save module: that’s the URL you need for an image code.
