how to use builder beaver to turn a single page to illustratr porfolio theme

  Hi there,

  I’m wondering if I can turn a single page on my website to an Illustratr portfolio theme where I can upload photos and short poems. For instance, I currently use the Dara theme for my website and I’d like to keep that theme, however, I’d like to make a page on my website specifically for photography and I liked the look and feel of the Illustratr portfolio theme. I know I’ll need to upgrade, but I didn’t want to do it without first knowing what my options are.

  Hi there,

  There is not really a way to combine more than one theme on a single WordPress site, so an upgrade would not help in this specific situation. I suppose it would be possible to hire a web designer to help you with creating a single page with that appearance but there is not really an easier way to do it than that.

  In addition to hiring a web designer you would also need our WordPress.com Business Plan (or higher) which will allow the source code of your site to be edited, which is what they would need to do to make changes to your site coding.
