How to use embed in a post

  How do I embed things in på posts?

  I have correct codes and put them in my posts, but when I publish my posts all that’s shown is the html-code.

  I’ve tried different once, but it’s never worked.
  The latest I tried was;
  <img src=”http://femtionyanser.bloggportalen.se/static/images/votebutton.png” height=”140″ width=”200″ alt=”Rösta på mitt bidrag!” />

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
