How to use excerpts in Elemin theme?

  I can see the excerpt box when I go into the edit page on a post but I’m confused what to do with it. Is there code I should have there?

  First off, not all themes here support excerpts. To test it out, Type in an excerpt in the box, or copy and paste a bit of text from the post (while in the “text” tab) and update the post and see if the excerpt shows.

  In some themes, excerpts only work on category and archive pages. On some themes on the main posts page, and some on all post listing pages .
