How to use follow widget

I cannot use the Follow widget and I tried a dozen times. It will not remove the previous widget which is an error – there is no button there is the word manage which takes you to the administration for the blog. I tried everything. It was working last week and now its not.
If this widget doesnt work then nobody can follow the blog or is there a different widget for people to follow my blog?Judy

Howdy!
The Follow widget on your blog appears to be working properly for me. When you have already “followed” your blog, you will see the “Manage” link in the widget area instead. This is what others who are already following your blog will see as well.
If you log out of your account, or if you unsubscribe from your blog, you should see the Follow button again.
Users who have not yet followed your blog still see the Follow button.
