How to use gmail for sending and receiving emails through my WordPress domain

  How do I setup gmail for sending and receiving emails through my domain I bought at WordPress.com?

  I have setup Google Apps. But it cost $50 dollar per year. So I would like to use my usual gmail account for receiving email. I can send actually now, since I used the Google Apps account to verify my domain, through an email address sent there.

  I hope this is possible somehow?
