How to use minientry style in Blix?

How do you use the minientry style in Blix? I can see the style in the stylesheet, and I assumed that posting an entry with a blank headline would cause the minientry style to be used. But no such luck. Any ideas?

Thanks for the idea, but no, categories and tags don’t seem to do the trick, either.
For the Blix template that doesn’t live at WordPress.com, the author of the template wrote:
“I’ve specified a custom field called ‘BX_entry_type’ which you can set to ‘mini’ via the admin panel. That’s all the user has to do.”
Is there any way to get the minientry to show on the WordPress.com version?

What IS a minientry? I might come up with a workaround if you can explain it and/or give me an example.

custom fields are not accessible for WP.com users. I would love to mess with them, though.

A minientry (or mini-entry) is a posting that has no headline and has a condensed style.
At the top of this Web page is a mini-entry: http://www.kingcosmonaut.de/blix/
I see no way to do this with a WP.com blog. I’m afraid it’s another reason to migrate from WP.com and establish a WP blog on a different server. Too many restrictions and non-working elements.

But not with other themes? Why would that functionality be limited to Sandbox, when Blix has a “minientry” style built right into it? There just seems to be no way to change an entry’s div class=minientry on WP.com.

Well, rats.
Is seems that when Blix was ported over to WP.com, the functionality of the “minientry” was lost. And there are no “hooks” for CSS to latch onto because neither tags nor categories show up in the code.
Reactivating the minientry style would be a great addition to Blix.
