How to use News Template on nuntius

  So the new theme nuntius is really good. I just want to know how to get it to look like this http://karen-on.com/.
  Please Help!!!

  Study the intro to the theme:
  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/nuntius/

  In short,
  a) You need to create a page (in Pages > Add New) and select the News template for it, create another page for your posts, then go to Settings > Reading and select the News template page as your front and the other one as your posts page.
  b) You need to turn some posts into stickies, and you need to set a featured image to each one of them.

  Im having pblms setting news template, when i change from default to news, my text disappear, why is that? help @ michiecat?

  @airodyssy, yes i did exactly that- i created the front page as news template, but my text not showing up on review

  Just switched to Nuntius (love it!) and am still trying to figure out the steps to get a photo in the slider. For this post, I’ve

  (1) Added an image (actually, a link to an image) which I believe is big enough
  (2) Made the post Sticky
  (3) Clicked on the “Featured Image” Screen Options box on the post

  Yet the image doesn’t appear in the slider. As you can see I have other images showing up, but this one doesn’t.

  Help!

  That alone does not set a featured image. Please read this support documentation for the proper way to set a featured image.

  Please note: a featured image has to be hosted on your WordPress.com site. You cannot specify an URL for an image hosted elsehere. You have to upload it.
