How to use non-standard post formats in WordPress.com post editor

  Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t seem to find it in the forum.

  Since WordPress.com redirects edit links on the front-end and new post links in the admin bar to the .com post editor, I find myself trying to use it more.

  But there is one big thing missing from the .com editor that keeps me from using it more: Custom Post Formats

  My theme has extra post formats (mainly Audio and Video) that I can’t use in the .com editor.

  Is there any way to add a custom post format to the .com editor?

  Barring that, is there some way to turn off WordPress admin links redirecting to the .com editor instead of the normal .org one?
