How to Use Polls

  So Im a high school student making a website for the club. For one of my posts I utilized the poll and it was actually very successful. Now seemingly, the format of the Editing for the word press has changed. There is an add media button on the top but no longer an “add poll” button. I can’t seem to find how to add them, and with the new format for the beginner Word Press blogs, Word Press tutorials have not seem to updated as well.

  Hi there. You cannot insert polls via the new post editor, but you can still do so via the classic editor.

  When you click the New Post button and the new editor loads, look at the bottom of the sidebar where it says “Switch to classic mode”. That will take you to the classic editor with the Add Poll button you’re looking for.

  You can also reach the classic editor by going to the My Sites page or using the My Sites drop-down menu and selecting the WP-Admin option. That will take you to the classic dashboard and if you create or edit a post via the Posts option in the menu on that page it will open the classic editor with the Add Poll button.

  You can edit existing polls or check responses to them by going to Feedback ->Polls on the classic dashboard.
