How to use sticky notes

I have looked and searched and it is probably something that is right in front of me, but I need to know how to access and use sticky notes with my site. Thank you in advance for your help and consideration

I’m assuming you have a free hosted WordPress.com blog and actually mean sticky posts.

timethief, thank you so much for answering my call out for help on sticky posts. yes I mistakenly called them sticky notes because I have never used them before. I did some searching though and found out part of my answer now the real problem is is in getting a feature of “iTheme2” theme to work; which told me I needed to use sticky post to use the photo feature at the top of my page. I feel like a complete moron, but I promise I am not,- I am just not used to using other peoples samplings. If you know how to make this feature work I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer.

You mean the featured posts slider of the theme. You need to set some posts as stickies as well as set a featured image to each of these posts.
