How to use the exported xml file?

    Hi,
    I went to Tools- Export- and tried to download my content. It’s a XML file, but how can I access the XML information to open up the files in another blog post? Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,

    If you want to move that content to a WordPress.com site, then you simply import the XML file to the site. See the Import support page for relevant information and instructions.

    I’m not sure what you mean. Imported posts will appear as posts on the site they’re imported to, but content can’t be directed to specific post if that’s what you mean.
