I am unable to use the menu administration area to add a dropdown list of categories to my theme’s main menu. I’d be grateful if you could help me out.

Hi,
To add sub-items to your menu, go to your WP Admin -> Appearance -> Menus. Select your primary menu to edit it. The Menu structure will be displayed on your screen. In order to add sub menu items, you can add them first as menu items. Add the categories you want to add as sub items to your menu structure (On the left side you can expand and see your available categories). Once they are on your menu structure, you can select each one and drop them under the menu item where you want them to be, you’ll see that a new level is created inside that menu item. Add each one of your categories in the same level. Click Save Menu. You’ll see that these sub items can be seen as a dropdown list when you hover over your menu item.
I hope this helps. -
Hi Carladoria, thank you for your time replying to my request. I apologize, that I didn’t tell you earlier, I’ve written the instruction given on your website before asking for help. They didn’t work. I’ve repeated the steps underlined in your note, unfortunately with no luck as well. Please help

@carladoria
You’re welcome. We can request links to screenshots and we can provide links to screenshots that we make ourselves, but that’s the extent of Volunteer support. We Volunteers never cross the line of providing support personally and directly by email. -
@paveltodorov do you still need help? Can you upload a screenshot to your media library and send a link?
Also, I did notice you haven’t categorized your posts. Bear in mind, you’ll only be able to add a link to a category if it has existing posts.
