How to verify a wordpress.com site with Google

  I’m trying to verify my site: http://www.carolynjoneswrites.com with Google. I’ve followed Google Webmaster’s instructions and they are not working. Do you have any advice about how I can verify that I own this site?

  Hi
  Goto Left column of your Dash–> click “Tools”–>Available Tools
  enter the meta tag as shown into the space beside Google WebmasterTools.
  and save.
  (You can get that tag on your google webmaster tools page.)

  go back and verify at your Google account, after that.
