Hi there,
The link you referenced was from a forum post that originated with user odion77. My reply there was directed to that user, and the link I gave is only accessible to WordPress.com staff and the user themselves.
All other users that click the link are re-directed to the WordPress.com forums.
Regarding your Google Webmaster issue, timethief is correct.
There are a variety of reasons for why your site might not yet be appearing in Google search results. For example:
+ Sometimes, it may take search engines, like Google, a little time to index your site. You could try giving it a few more days, or a week. Also, you can directly submit your site to Google via the following link:
http://blogsearch.google.com/ping
+ The best way to get high rankings in search results is to generate high-quality content that other high-quality sites link to. What are your strengths? What are you passionate about? Take some time to think about this, and do your best to generate original, compelling content that other people will want to read and share. Most of all, try to be patient :-)
+ Finally, try becoming an active member of communities that share your interests. When you comment on a story that you think is relevant to something you covered, try leaving a link back to your post. This way, you may help someone else in the community, as well as gain new, potential followers for your site.
I hope these tips help, and if you have any other questions, please let me know :-)

Hi there,
I noticed that you were not pleased with my response, so I just wanted to follow up and make sure that I have a clear understanding of your issue, and that I can find a satisfactory solution for you.
Can you describe what you mean when you say won’t fetch homepage?
Are you able to verify your site with Google, but then, when you log back into Webmaster Tools, it states that you’ve lost your verification status?
Are you receiving any kind of error message from Google or WordPress.com? If so, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Once I get some feedback, we can take the next troubleshooting step in resolving your issue.
Thank you for your patience.

thankyou…
the issue is I verify as per your wordpress instructions by generating mega-tag and pasting the number part only into google webmaster box in tools bar. I save on wordpress then verify via webmaster. It accepts and says verify and found, but when i log back onto webmaster tools it says site unverified again… and yes i can’t fetch as google home page either. you can read about FETCH in Google Webmasters tools help here..
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/158587?hl=eni have uploaded the screenshot into library.
thanks -
Excepts my site, verifys it but won’t fetch homepage
Based on what you said and timethief’s response, I thought you meant that you were having an issue with how Google displays your site in their search results.
This is a common issue, so I hope you do not take any umbrage from my response. Now, I understand what you meant.
First, I am going to forward your issue to the appropriate team and verify that there is nothing on our end that might be preventing your site from being verified with Google.
Second, can you please try following the verification procedure one more time?
Please clear your browser’s cache and cookies, re-enter the meta key’s content value, save it, and refresh the Webmaster Tools verification page.
If this still doesn’t work, let me know, and I will give you an update regarding our analysis of your issue.

hi
fair enough, i think the curve ball came from Timethief who in being very helpful went off on many many tangents.. :-) no umbrage taken, just a feedback form sent to me so thought i’d answer as requested ..
Re: verify with Webmaster.. i think i,ve discovered the issue. My main site is registered already under my main email address, which i didnt use for this new one with wordpress so i,ve opened a new account with webmaster tools under the email with wordpress. Its verified and now ok
