How to verify YouTube associated website for free WordPress bloggers

I am a free blogger on WordPress.
I tried verifying YouTube associated website to my blog by seeing the instructions provided by WordPress support but at the end a domain is required for the last step of verification which free users don’t have.
Is there no any other way around it, I am just trying to provide my link at the end of my videos for more traffic in my blog. Why do I have to buy a domain paying monthly charges just for that.
