How to widen the text area on twenty eleven theme?

  Hi ! I’m new to this CSS editing thing and i’m having a hard time trying to make the text area of my page wider.
  Can some one tell me how to do it?

  Hi

  Try this custom CSS.

  .singular .entry-content {
      width: 95%;
  }

  Select Appearance > Customize > CSS from your Admin Dashboard and enter the custom CSS there.
