How to Widgets: Image in text field
-
I’ve taken the time to lay out all the steps, along with pictures, on how to place images in the Widget text fields. Let me know if this helps! :)

The post is nice, but what’s up with your screen shots? Why use a digicam? Personally I use FastStone Capture, much easier: http://www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm
And btw, it’s not considered good practice to hotlink images from other sources, especially if they are not your own, so you should upload the image to your Media Library and insert from there. Works the same.

Yeah, I know the picture quality isn’t that great, but I did my best with the ole’ camera, and tried to edit as well. Do you know of a screen capture thing for Macs? I didn’t see Mac listed in the specs of FastStone. AND I haven’t figured out the whole Media Library thing quite yet. Will have to keep playing around till I get it.. :)
