  See the topic Text box in post. The thread is old, but the codes provided still work. The code would be the same for inserting into other content types such as a page and a portfolio project, and presumably also in text widget.   I may have misunderstood. What do you mean by “in a template?” If you’re trying to customize the template framework, then what you’ve described might be possible, but I think it would require CSS customization, if possible.
