How would I be able to create a sub-blog within my blog?
-
Hello,
I presented this question in the forums, and I have not received any useful responses thus far (however, it has only been one day). In addition to the writings that I have been doing with my blog, I sort of want to do a sub-series so to speak on the analization of the anime Mushi-shi. The motives aren’t really important (trying to keep this as short as possible for you guys). In which case, I started to think how I would go about organizing this with my current blog.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the best way to do this would to be create a sub-blog within my blog. Essentially, I would create a published page that details the goals and motives of this side project. I would then create only one child page of that page, and in this child page all my responses would be present in regards to that anime.
I know that may sound confusing, but think of the alternative. If I would not be able to do that, I would have to put a page for each written response for each episode. That would correlate to over 30 pages! I do not want that on my blog. It would make more sense to condense all of my responses into one page. The problem with the dashboard, is that I do not see the option of accomplishing this.
I’m sure this is probably possible with HTML/XTML or CSS. And well, I am such a nooby with those languages that I do not know where to start to find the code, and even if I found the code, where would I insert the code?
Anyways, thank you for your time!

It sounds like you want to create a page which contains posts. Unfortunately, that’s not entirely possible, as pages are a form of content, like posts, and therefore canot contain posts.
Instead, I’d recommend creating a category for the side project and then utilize this category’s archive page much in the same fashion that you intended to use your sub-blog.
