How would I change the color/features of this section?

  In my theme (Pique) there is a background color, which is behind everything. Then there is a panel upon which the content for that page resides; I don’t know what this ‘panel’ is called to be able to change the color or other attributes. Going to the ‘About’ page on the site selected, you can see that the background behind the text is an off-white color. But ‘background’ refers to the dark grey color behind that. So, any ideas for how I might change the color of this text panel? Thanks in advance for any guidance you might have. Here’s a link to the example: https://machineroomstudio.wordpress.com/about/

  I don’t see any differences in color on my computer:

  BUT you could background color of your entry-content section using some CSS magic

  .pique-template-full-width .entry-content {
  background: red;
  }
