How would I tweak certain parts of my website? Do I need premium?

  I am testing different themes at the moment to see what one I like for my Uni portfolio/website. I have found 3-4 ones I like, they are 95% nice, except for a tab bar thats in the way, or the colour tab at the top, or the title in the wrong position.

  How would I edit these small things? Even if its just changing the blue tab at the top of my website, as you can see. Do I need to purchase premium to change this? Or can I do it for free?

  Hi there!

  The little tweaks you are talking about (color, appearance, layout) are considered Custom CSS.

  Custom CSS is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans

  Anyone can save and preview custom CSS on a WordPress.com blog, but you have to purchase one of our plans to make those changes live.

  Ah so I CAN edit it, but it can only be viewed in my browser, and not other peoples? So I guess I will have to think about finding the closest one I like

  Exactly :) Have fun editing, I think it’s a great learning experience, and it will help you really narrow down what you are looking for in a theme.
