    Thanks for getting in touch. I can see that y’all purchased a premium hosting plan and attempted to connect howardptsa.org to that plan.

    However, looking closer at the domain, howardptsa.org, I can see that this is registered through Host gator, not WordPress.com.

    This gives me a hunch that the site you’re working on is actually set up on the open source WordPress installation, and hosted by Host gator. That’s different from using our managed hosting solutions from WordPress.com. Where we handle all back end details, which leaves you the time needed to focus on content.

    We can help you move the site over to our managed hosting, which might be a better fit for the project and your experience level. Our team of experts will handle all the updates, security, spam, seo, and so forth.

    Otherwise, you’ll need to reach out to hostgator and inquire about why the site is down. We don’t have any access to it for providing further help.

    Last thing, if you keep the site with Hostgator then you can cancel the hosting plan you purchased with us at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/ and we will issue a refund as well.
