HowTo embed a ReadMore link when posting via email?

  I like posting via email because I am blind, and this is just the easiest way. I like shortcodes, and they all work, except one: I’d like to embed a ReadMore link when posting via email. [More] does not seem to work. At the moment, I do the posting, then head over to the browser and insert <!–more Read more…-—> in the quick edit form.
  I hope you can tell me the correct shortcode for this. I haven’t found anything on google yet. thanks, Markus

  Hi Markus,

  Can you let me know what email program you’re using when you send in the post via email? I just tested this out in Mac’s default Mail app and the following shortcode worked on my side:

  Hi there, and thank you for your reply! I am using the same software and have just tried [more]. It worked. I had read that the other ShortCodes were capitalized, such as [Status publicize], [Category …], and so on. Maybe the [more] one wouldn’t work with a capital M. Thanks anyway, it is working fine now!
