HOWTO: Make menu hyperlink launch in new window?

    Normally when I define a hyperlink somewhere on my WordPress.com site, I’m given an option to force the navigation to take place in a new browser window. But for some reason when I define the hyperlink on my main menu, there’s no such option, which means the navigation takes place in the same window. Since the hyperlink points to an external site, my preference is for the navigation to take place in a new tab/window.

    You can see the issue if you click the “Launch Software” link in my main menu.

    Is there a checkbox I’m missing somewhere? I can’t seem to find it.
