how/where do I start a live chat for help?
-
I haven’t seen a live chat window pop up for days and have a question about a specific thing on my site. How do I find someone for a quick live chat?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Live support for wordpress really sucks !
How does one get help from support team with account issues ?
I would like to TALK to someone in support not another member ! -
Yes, but if the volunteers don’t tell you how, you’ll never know, will you?
Phone support is not available here except from private consultants and you can expect to pay through the nose for that.
Live web chat is I believe only available for clients with upgrade bundles during business hours in North America, during the week.

You do a search of the Support documents and if that turns up no solution, you create a thread in the forum and give details so the volunteers can help you. TT and I have been here longer than most of the staff, for instance.

Ok… I have a blog I just created, and when I receive the email notices from that blog they appear from another different blog which is not associated or connected. Why and how do I fix that ? Anyone !

I’ve been curious about live chat too, because the chat box springs up occasionally on my stats page, so the last time it happened I asked through the chat format how to access it when I needed it.
The support chat person answered that it was only available sporadically when a support person was free, and that’s when I would see the little chat window appear. She didn’t mention about it being consistently available for certain upgraded wp blogs as I read on the support link timethief gave (thank you timethief!)
If you’re a WordPress.com Business or WordPress.com Enterprise subscriber, you’ll have access to Live Chat Support.
I only have the no ads upgrade, not the ones mentioned above, so I guess we have sporadic access when they aren’t too busy chatting with wp business blogs… Since I didn’t have an actual problem to get help with, I don’t know how effective the live chat support might be…

Sorry, I don’t know enough about your issue to help, but like raincoaster said, you would do better to start a new thread with your question because as it stands, only people interested in the live chat topic are likely to even look at this thread. If you spell out your question succinctly in the topic you’ll be more likely to get input, which occasionally will be from a support person aka “happiness engineer.”In my experience in 4 years of blogging, the regular volunteers here will usually be able to help, or if they can’t they’ll tag the topic for a support person to look at it.
The body of your comment should have more info in order for anyone to be able to help you, like is the other “unconnected” blog in fact also YOUR blog / a wordpress.com blog, or one you know nothing about?
Also, the urls of the blogs in question so staff and or volunteers can look at them for any clues.
Good luck, I hope it works out!
