htaccess problem
-
I had wordpress installed in my root directory but I had jetpack issues and I had to re-install from the mediatemple plesk panel. This resulted in wp installed in mydomain.com/wordpress_2/ folder.
Now my site isnt accessible at mydomain.com. How do I modify my htaccess file in order to make it work? I tried this:
RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?mydomain.com$ RewriteRule ^(/)? /wordpress_2/$1 [R=301,L]but I get a infinite loop error. And if I comment them out, I get a 403 forbidden.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the support forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com, but your above site appears to be using the standalone WP (org) software.
Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities with different documentation and support forums; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You can find all the support information for sites using the WP (org) software at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
Good luck and best wishes.
