I just a planning management app called Salonized for my beauty salon, there is a pricelist widget that i want to use on my website,

    this is the code:

    https://annastasias-beauty-salon.salonized.com/services?layout=embed

if i enter the code in a HTML code text box on the wordpress website editor and click on preview it shows the correct pricelist widget.

but when i look on my website it shows nothing at all. no box, no error nothing.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hey there, could you share a link to the affected page? I see the front page has price listings as images right now, but if you wouldn’t mind adding the code again, we’ll have a look.

The pricelist you see right now is a PNG

i did send a mail and they told me i need to buy the premium package for 40 euros to use the iframe code, so if you stil want me to upload the code again i will do it but they told me i need to upgrade my package

  • Hi there,

No need to provide the code. If it is iframe, then you will actually need a plugin-enabled plan to embed it to your site, which means either the Business or eCommerce Plans:

The Premium Plan would not allow iframes. For more information on code that is and isn’t allowed on non-plugin-enabled sites, please visit:

    https://wordpress.com/support/code/

I would recommend the Business Plan, as it will provide you access to iframe embeds as well as many other awesome features that you can check out here:

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions at all.

    Thanks!

You may want to give Blogger a try. It is not anywhere near as featured as Worspress is, however for free, you can post code in a html block and your pricing thing may work there. You can also get a .com domain for $12 or around that to attach to your blogger site. Iy’s a very cheap alternative with less features, but it is an alternative. This is only a recommendation.

    “Worspress”… .I meant WordPress.

  • @annastasiasbeautysalon all of our managed services, even free sites, are cared for by employees who watch after your site’s security. Several popular embedding options have been approved, but this one isn’t on the list. And while your one site has just this one iframe, what would happen if that service got hacked? Multiply that by the possibility of every site having just one iframe from some other site: it can get very complex, very quickly. That’s why unapproved outside code is limited to the Business plan and up.

Rather than embedding the iframe, have you thought about using a table? You’d simply type /table and choose three columns, then enter your info there. You can change border colors too if needed.

If you want to put a header with a colored background before each table, you can do that too. Typing /head will get you started, then click over to the options to select a text and background color, as well as any typography or spacing. Then, to get the width to match your table, select both blocks and group them.

The only thing this would not have is the little triangle image below the header. If you definitely need that, you could upgrade to Premium and do that with CSS. Or instead of using their header style, you might try using a cover block that matches each type of service. Lots of options.

Once you set up one table group with the colors and style you like, you can copy and paste it and change the content to match your other services. I hope this helps!

Also, @dtpiixart your response got flagged for staff attention. I appreciate that you’re not here as a spokesperson for that service, and will leave the response as valid, but please be mindful of the community guidelines regarding promotion going forward. Thanks!

Was only making a suggestion that may help. That was also a good suggestion for using tables.

Thanks for the suggestion, im not good at coding and stuff, the thing i do know is that my iframe is automaticly updating my prices and services if i change then in my Salonized program in the iframe

Does that still work with your suggestion?
