You can use the CSS editor to customize the appearance of any WordPress.com site with a Premium plan or higher. It works by allowing you to add your own CSS styles to override the default styles of your theme, https://wordpress.com/support/editing-css/

I have one more, how can I show a link to preview itself on page? like picture link, e-book etc.

This isn’t possible on the wordpress.com platform unless you use a plugin. To be able to do so you must upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/

I already erase and rewrite all the lines but it keeps following me?
Is there any accomplice in wordpress? or they break into my account? lol

  • That highlighting is a bug. Our developers are already investigating what’s causing this, but for now, if you edit your content in the HTML view and remove all instances of <mark> and </mark>, that should remove the highlighting.

DO NO JOKE ON ME. IT IS GRAVE. you guys are not allowed to treat me like that and have a responsibility to let me know the right way to address this.
I tried to erase the mark but keep emerging and rewriting automatically after I modify and save it though.

    Hi there!

The bug has already been reported to our developers so you may need to wait until the issue has been fixed.

If the <mark> HTML tag automatically comes back, it might be related to the issue as well. We can try editing the post for you to check for ourselves if we can remove the <mark> tags. Are you okay with us editing this post or would you like to create a new draft post for us to look at?

  • Unknown's avatar

How can you fix this bug for me? Do I have to let you let you into my account or you can do that on your own?

If you can, would you edit the part and remove the yellow background and add up white text, not black

i do not know who perpetrated the bugs though,

    Hi there!

The bug affects other sites on WordPress.com as well. When it’s fixed, it’ll be fixed on all sites, including yours.

In the meantime, I went to edit the page and removed the <mark> tags from the HTML code of the page. I think the yellow highlights do not show up on this particular page any more. Can you visit the page and confirm if you’re still seeing the yellow highlights?

this page still has the same problem.

do I have to ask every each time to rectify this bug?

  • The bug has not been fixed.

It has been reported to our developers, and they’re investigating what’s causing it.

Once it’s fixed, we will let you know in this thread. But until we do, we need you to please be patient. We understand this is frustrating, but there is nothing else we can do at the moment.

  • Hi there,

Just wanted to update you that the issue should be fixed now, but let us know if you see it still happening anywhere on your site.
